Not only that, but according to a purchase bug, get it on PS5 will only download the PS4 version in its place, without all remastered upgrades. Let's hope it will be quickly settled.
In the current state of things, if you want one or other Spider-Man games on PS5, you could also get Spider-Man: moral miles — Ultimate Edition and get both. This is a better value and these are both fantastic games. Consider this if you buy these games for a loved one for the holidays. Spider-man and Spider-Man: Moral Miles are both available on PS4 and PS5.
